Your fans could build a thousand bridges, but if one eats horseshit, you’re not know as bridge builders. You're shit eaters.

  • Muss ich verdrängt haben.. :D

finally. cup champion 2011 - boston bruins :]

"The AHL franchise's first home game was played on October 15, 2010, in front of 12,512 spectators - the largest crowd ever to see a hockey match in Charlotte"

  • Injury-plagued Rangers head to Carolina
    RANGERS (27-18-3) at HURRICANES (22-18-6)

    Team Scope:
Rangers: While the Blueshirts will surely miss Dubinsky in the near future, they certainly didn't on Wednesday night. Marian Gaborik picked up the slack in a big way as he scored four goals and added an assist as the Rangers pummeled the Toronto Maple Leafs in a 7-0 rout at MSG.
"I think it is important that we don't see this as an excuse for not winning or getting points," said goalie Henrik Lundqvist, who stopped all 22 shots he faced for his seventh shutout of the season. "Yeah, we have guys out, but at the same time it is an opportunity for other guys to step up. We responded when we needed to and now we need to keep it going. It is a big week for us."

Hurricanes: After getting trounced 7-0 in Boston on Monday, the 'Canes took a season-high 45 shots and had 28 more blocked -- yet still found themselves on the losing end in a 3-2 loss to the Bruins at the RBC Center on Tuesday night.

  • Skinner could receive All-Star Promotion (Hurricanes Blog)
It’s possible that what’s already been a remarkable rookie season for Jeff Skinner could take a most unexpected turn. According to a report by ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun, the NHL plans to replace those unable to play in the All-Star Game due to injury with rookies from the previous day’s SuperSkills competition. With other reports claiming that the Pittsburgh Penguin’s duo of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are unlikely to play, not to mention Edmonton’s Ales Hemsky, it looks as though at least three spots would be open.

  • Skinner does it again as 'Canes beat Leafs ' (NHL Game Recap)
Skinner does it again as 'Canes beat Leafs. Jeff Skinner continues to play well beyond his years for the Carolina Hurricanes. Monday night, the 18-year-old scored his 18th goal of the season, the game-winner in Carolina's 6-4 victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs at the RBC Center. He says he was fortunate the puck came to him. Those who've seen him play up close know better.
